Robert Burdon - The Drummer of Linkin Park

Robert Burdon, an American musician, is best known as the drummer of the rock band Linkin Park. He was born on January 20, 1979, in Calabasas, California and currently resides in Los Angeles. Growing up in the same city as the members of Incubus, Burdon attended the same school as some members of the band Hoobastank.

Early Musical Influences and Career

Burdon's interest in drumming began at the age of 10, after attending an Aerosmith concert. His mother was an ex-girlfriend of Joey Kramer, the drummer of Aerosmith, which allowed Burdon to have behind-the-scenes access and witness the entire production. In addition to drums, Burdon also plays the piano. At the age of 13, he started playing in various bands with his friends. This continued until he met Brad Delson, the guitarist of Linkin Park, and together, they performed in a band called Relative Degree for a year. Their goal was to play at the Roxy, a famous music venue in Los Angeles, but the band disbanded after achieving their goal.

Dedication and Personal Beliefs

Burdon is known for his meticulousness and constant striving to play at his best. He holds high standards for himself and his performances. Interestingly, due to religious reasons, Burdon does not have any tattoos.
