Biography of Robert James Hoffman
Robert James Hoffman III was born on September 21, 1980, in Gainesville, Florida, USA. He is an American actor, professional dancer, and choreographer. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Madison, Alabama. He has a younger brother named Chris and two younger sisters named Ashley and Lauren.

Love for Dance
Robert fell in love with dance after watching the outstanding 14-minute music video "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. He spent some time studying at the Alabama School of Fine Arts and made his acting debut in 2003, appearing in an episode of the television series "American Dreams".

Early Acting Career
In several films, Hoffman played small roles as dancers, including the comedy "From Justin to Kelly", the romance film "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights", and the sports films "Coach Carter" and "Step Up". He shared the American Choreographer Award with other dancers for his performances in these films.

Dance Career and Parody Projects
Hoffman worked as a dancer for Christina Aguilera, Usher, Mya, Marilyn Manson, Ricky Martin, and Svetlana, serving as a dance double in their music videos. He also wrote, directed, and starred in several short parodies. One notable project is "Kinetsu Hayabusa: the urban ninja", in which Robert dresses up as a black ninja and performs tricks in the city, startling passersby. This entertaining project gained him a battalion of fans.
Breakthrough Role
Robert's first significant film role came in 2006 when he appeared in the comedy "She's the Man", alongside Amanda Bynes and his good friend Channing Tatum.
