Robert Ruth

Born in 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, Ruth's early life took an adventurous turn when he enlisted in the Marine Corps at the young age of 17. He served his country honorably during the Korean War.
Career in Television
After his military service, Ruth transitioned into acting and found success in episodic roles on popular television shows such as "Mission: Impossible," "Everybody Loves Raymond," and "The Pretender."
Collaboration with Quentin Tarantino
Ruth's career reached new heights when he collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. He appeared in two of Tarantino's iconic movies: "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction." In "Pulp Fiction," he played the memorable role of the diner employee who witnesses the robbery orchestrated by Tim Roth's character and his female accomplice.
Later Years and Legacy
Ruth continued to grace the screen throughout his life, but his later years were marked by diminished appearances. Sadly, he passed away on December 29th in the United States, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances in film and television.
