A Career at Sony
Wizentale's career at Sony began in July 2000, when he joined the company as an Executive Vice President and CFO. In this role, he is responsible for controlling the financial aspects of the firm's activities and managing the relationships with investors in the American division of Sony. Additionally, Wizentale leads the corporate development, mergers and acquisitions departments at Sony's headquarters.

Wizentale's journey to success at Sony was paved by his academic achievements and professional experiences. He graduated from the University of Rochester, New York, in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He then joined Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), an international investment bank, in 1986, initially working in the Mergers and Acquisitions department. In 1993, he transitioned to the Media Group within CSFB and eventually became Managing Director of the company in 1999. Throughout his tenure at CSFB, Wizentale served as a strategic advisor to SCA and played a key role in various financial transactions and mergers and acquisitions deals for clients such as Sony Corporation of America, The Seagram Company, Time Warner, USA Networks, MacAndrews & Forbes, Cox Communications, and The New York Times.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities
Outside of Sony, Wizentale's expertise is highly valued in the business community. He is a member of the board of directors of Entercom Communications Corp., the fourth-largest radio broadcasting company in the United States. Additionally, he is involved in the international film festival in Hampton.
