Biography of Bohdan Butko

Club Career

Bohdan Butko, a Ukrainian footballer, plays as a midfielder for Belgian club Sint-Truiden and the Ukrainian national team. He began his youth career at Kremen Kremenchuk and later played for Molod Poltava. In August 2006, he made his debut for Kremen in the Ukrainian Second League.

In 2009, Butko joined Vorskla Poltava at the invitation of Nikolai Pavlov. He debuted in the Ukrainian Premier League in May 2009 and scored his first goal in October 2009. That same year, Vorskla won the Ukrainian Cup, defeating Shakhtar Donetsk in the final.

Butko made his European debut in August 2009 in a Europa League match against Benfica.
