Biography of Roman Hryshchuk
Roman Hryshchuk, born on August 27, 1989, in Kyiv, Ukraine, is a prominent figure in Ukrainian entertainment and politics. He holds the positions of Member of the Ukrainian Parliament (IX convocation) and Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, and Innovations.
Education and Early Career
Hryshchuk graduated with honors from Kyiv School No. 186 and later earned a degree in biomedical engineering from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI). He led the successful KPI KVN team to prominence in the Ukrainian Higher League. Hryshchuk's association with the renowned "95th Quarter" studio further enhanced his comedic skills.
"Mamakhohotatla" and Film Career
In 2013, Hryshchuk joined forces with his KVN teammates to establish the "Mamakhohotatla" comedy studio. Known for its wholesome and family-friendly humor, the studio produces a popular television show by the same name on NLO TV. Hryshchuk has also directed feature films such as "Infoholic" and series, and has performed extensively throughout Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Marriage and Personal Life
In the fall of 2015, Hryshchuk married Anna Hres, an actress from "Mamakhohotatla" and a prominent blogger.
Political Career
In 2019, representing the "Servant of the People" party, Hryshchuk secured a seat in the Ukrainian Parliament (IX convocation) in the 222nd single-mandate constituency of Kyiv. He is a member of the Committee on Education, Science, and Innovations, and co-chairs parliamentary groups for relations with Turkey and Argentina.
Current Activities
As a Member of Parliament, Hryshchuk focuses on legislation related to education, science, and innovation. He actively participates in parliamentary debates and committees, representing the interests of his constituents and working towards the betterment of Ukraine.
