Biography of Rosie Anush
Rosie Anush is an American soprano opera singer, known for her promising talent and lyrical soprano voice. She was born in 1984 and hails from San Francisco, California. From a young age, Rosie showed a love for music and began her musical education by learning to play the violin under the guidance of her father, Gerard Svazlian, a violinist in the San Francisco Opera Orchestra. She later expanded her music education to include piano and singing.

Rosie's passion for opera, combined with her love for dramatic theater and the arts, led her to pursue a career as a professional singer. Instead of accepting an invitation to attend the Conservatory of San Francisco, Rosie Anush decided to study vocal performance in the heart of Italian opera, Milan. She attended the Conservatory of Milan, where she obtained a master's degree and studied the works of Giuseppe Verdi under the guidance of maestros Gianni Mastino and Adalberto Tonini.
Currently, Rosie Anush is participating in the preparatory program at the Academy of La Scala, with maestro Vincenzo Manno as her mentor. This opportunity allows her to further develop her skills and knowledge in the world-renowned La Scala theater in Milan.
Throughout her career, Rosie has performed in various productions at the Conservatory of Milan, including roles such as Jenny Diver and Lady Di in Kurt Weil's "Die Dreigroschenoper," Rose in Benjamin Britten's "The Little Sweep," Musetta in Giacomo Puccini's "La Boheme," Marianna in Gioachino Rossini's "Il Signor Bruschino," Adina in Donizetti's "L'elisir d'amore," Rosina Almaviva in Mozart's "Le Nozze di Figaro," and the lead role in Francis Poulenc's "La voix humaine." She has also performed as the main protagonist in Gustav Holst's "Savitri" at Teatro Dal Verme in Milan.
In December 2010, Rosie Anush made her debut concert in Yerevan, Armenia, where she had the honor to perform alongside Plácido Domingo at the Yerevan Perspectives International Festival. Recently, she was chosen as one of the forty contestants for the 2011 Operalia vocal competition, an initiative created by Plácido Domingo.
Outside of her musical pursuits, Rosie Anush has a keen interest in positive psychology and the power of positive thinking.
