Introduction and Background
Ruby Dickinson is a Welsh girl who gained international attention in 2010 at the age of three for her unusual hobby – tattooing. Her father, Blaine, who is a tattoo artist himself, encouraged Ruby to pursue this art form from a young age. Blaine, with his body covered in tattoos, provided a safe canvas for Ruby to practice her skills. Ruby quickly mastered the technique of tattooing and began confidently doodling on her father's skin.

Early Beginnings
While her peers were just learning to hold pencils and markers, Ruby was already adept at using a tattoo machine. Her father even imported a special machine from the United States specifically designed for a child's hand. Ruby's tiny hands found comfort and ease in tattooing, and she quickly developed a passion for the craft. Her father often jokes that Ruby will give him a "real" tattoo on his 40th birthday.

Daily Life as a Young Tattoo Artist
Every day, Ruby accompanies her father to work, where she practices with a special child-friendly tattoo kit. As she gains confidence and learns to create designs on demand, Blaine plans to submit an application to the record books to officially recognize Ruby as the youngest tattoo master in the world. Currently, the record is held by Emilie Darrigade, a five-year-old Canadian girl who tattooed her father.
The Future of Ruby's Tattooing Career
Despite the current interest in tattoos, Blaine acknowledges that Ruby may eventually tire of the art form as she grows older. He believes that the choice to continue tattooing will ultimately be Ruby's decision. However, Ruby herself is unwavering in her desire to become a tattoo artist. Even while her peers play with dolls, Ruby remains dedicated to her craft and expresses her ambition to be a master of tattoos.
