Early Life and Career

Eldar Hasanov, an Azerbaijani football goalkeeper, was born in Yevlakh. Inspired by his brother, Kenan Kerimov, a fellow professional footballer, Eldar embarked on his football journey at the tender age of seven, honing his skills at the local youth academy under the tutelage of Akif Musayev and Elshan Gasanov.

Club Career

Throughout his illustrious career, Hasanov played for numerous Azerbaijani clubs, including Automobilchi Yevlakh, Samir Baku, Garabagh Barda, Vilash Masally, Kapaz Ganja, Shamkir, Energetik Mingachevir, and Karvan Yevlakh. Notably, he captained the latter team. In the 2011/12 season, he sported the number 12 jersey for Sumgayit.

International Career

Hasanov proudly represented Azerbaijan at various youth levels, including the U-17, U-19, and U-21 teams.
