Early Life and Education
Born into a family of an educator and a businessman, Jorge Blanco graduated from the University of Santo Domingo.
Presidency
On August 16, 1982, Jorge Blanco became President of the Dominican Republic, serving until August 16, 1986. His presidency was marked by various reforms and policies.
Post-Presidency and Legal Challenges
After leaving office, Jorge Blanco faced legal charges for the alleged misuse of public funds. Despite his efforts to clear his name, the legal process persisted.
Health Issues and Death
