Biography of Samantha Beaven

Samantha Beaven was a young British woman who tragically lost her life to cervical cancer. Throughout her pregnancy, Samantha noticed that something was not right. Despite the late diagnosis, Samantha's family did everything they could to save her. They sold all their belongings and moved to a cheaper rented accommodation to afford a special treatment course in Mexico. Even Samantha's 6-year-old daughter, Bracken, participated in fundraising by selling her own toys on eBay. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain, and Samantha passed away shortly after returning from Mexico. The treatment seemed to have some positive effect, although it was not expected to cure her. Samantha hoped to at least prolong her life and spend more time with her children and husband. However, a lung infection foiled these plans, and she passed away a few days after returning to Britain.

Samantha's husband, Alex Beaven, had to quit his job to take care of their children. Fortunately, their relatives and friends rallied together to support the family and provide them with a decent living. Samantha's close friend, Wendy Campling, described her as an active and energetic mother. It was only natural for her legacy to be continued after her death. Although their fight against the disease was not successful, their noble intentions and enthusiasm left the Beaven family with nothing. Friends continue to help the children and widower because they believe it is what Samantha would have wanted.

Samantha's battle with cancer began in October 2013. She experienced spasms and bleeding throughout her pregnancy but was unable to receive a proper diagnosis from doctors. She went to the hospital multiple times, but the doctors couldn't provide any specific answers. All the tests conducted were inconclusive. Samantha knew something was wrong, especially since she had been pregnant before and could compare her experiences. However, the doctors dismissed her concerns, attributing her symptoms to complications of pregnancy. It wasn't until she reached the 26th week of pregnancy and went into labor that her condition was properly examined. Doctors confirmed the opening of the cervix and discovered a 7-centimeter malignant growth causing the bleeding. A biopsy revealed the cancer, explaining all the symptoms Samantha had been experiencing.

Despite the grim prognosis, Samantha refused to give up and married her fiancé, Alex, in a hastily organized ceremony. This brought some positivity and happiness to their lives. Samantha focused on prolonging her life and spending time with her family. She not only dealt with her own problems but also devoted herself to raising awareness about cervical cancer. She actively supported the charity project "Push for Prems," which helps premature babies. This project had also supported Samantha when her daughter, Daisy, was born prematurely. Catherine Demir, the project's leader and a close friend of Samantha's, praised her incredible results and the inspiration she provided to others.

Seeking treatment in Mexico became Samantha's last hope as the cancer continued to spread. Initially, the treatment showed promising results. However, soon after returning home, Samantha developed a lung infection. It was this infection that ultimately took her life.
