Professional Breakthrough at Newcastle and Liverpool
In 1995, Hyypiä had a brief training stint with English club Newcastle. This experience gave him a glimpse into professional European football, inspiring him to seek opportunities abroad. In 1999, he joined Liverpool, where his career would reach new heights.
Success at Liverpool
