Early Life and EducationSerafima Krasnikova was born on August 16, 1996, in Moscow, the daughter of actor, director, screenwriter, and editor Igor Krasnikov. At the tender age of 8, she began studying piano at a music school, followed by attending the Valentin Serov Art School at age 11. After graduating high school, she auditioned and gained admission to the Boris Shchukin Theater Institute's acting department under the tutelage of Valentina Nikolaenko, a star of the comedy "Wedding in Malinovka."
Theatrical Debut and Career
During her university years, Krasnikova honed her skills in various stage productions, including "Richard III," "Tomlenie," and "Proschanie s Matyora." In her final year, she made her theatrical debut at the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater with "Puss in Boots." In 2017, she played in "DO+VLA=TOV" at the "Modern" theater. Two years later, she joined the Theater of Nations, where she excelled in "Stilyagi" and "Razbityy Kuvshin."
Film and Television Breakthrough
Krasnikova's first onscreen appearance was a brief role in the crowd scene of Stanislav Govorukhin's "Konets Prekrasnoy Epokhi." She began regularly appearing in films and television shows after 2018. She played a notable part in the series "Nenastye" alongside Alexander Yatsenko. Other notable roles include "IP Pirogova - 2," "Soderzhanki," "257 Prichin, Chtoby Zhit'," "Mosgaz," and "Psikh." In 2021, she joined the cast of "Besprintsipnye" Season 2 as Lev Volburg's niece. In 2022, she appeared in the dramatic miniseries "Monastyr" as a casino administrator.
Personal Life and Pursuits
Krasnikova occasionally shares glimpses of her personal life on Instagram. She enjoys traveling and has a passion for baking. During the 2020 lockdown, she began baking bread with playful designs, which she initially sold online. Her hobby eventually evolved into a full-fledged culinary project called Breadportrait. She expanded her offerings to include loaves infused with ingredients such as beetroot, pumpkin, malt, and turmeric.
Current Projects
In 2023, Krasnikova starred in the multi-episode melodrama "Paromshchitsa: Dolina Mechty." She also appeared in the lyrical comedy "Blondinka." Beyond acting, she has directed the performance "Poema Gory" based on Marina Tsvetaeva's works and serves as a reader in "Ob"yasnenie v Sud'be," a play inspired by Tsvetaeva's epistolary novel with Boris Pasternak.
