Biography of Sergei Bychkov

Sergei Bychkov is a Ukrainian politician and public figure. He was born on July 21, 1961, in Dnipro, Ukraine. Bychkov is a member of the Ukrainian Parliament, serving in the IV and V convocations. He is the head of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Strong Ukraine". Bychkov's educational background is in civil engineering, and he is a renowned builder in Ukraine, holding the title of Honored Builder of Ukraine. He is also a full member of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine and holds the military rank of Colonel. Bychkov is married and has a daughter.

Sergei Bychkov was born on July 21, 1961, in Dnipro, Ukraine. He pursued his higher education at the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after academician V. Lazaryan. Bychkov graduated as a civil engineer with a specialization in construction.

Professional Career

Bychkov began his professional career in the construction industry, starting as a master in 1985 and progressing to become a chief of the Dniprgorstroy Council. He has been actively involved in scientific research at the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport and has published over 70 scientific works.

Political Career

Bychkov's political career started in 1990 when he was elected as a deputy of the local councils in Dnipro. He served five terms as a deputy, being elected in 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, and 2006. During his time in the Ukrainian Parliament, Bychkov held various positions, including Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Co-Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of Ukraine and Lithuania, and member of the Parliamentary Assemblies of NATO, the Western European Union, and GUAM. He was also elected as the leader of the parliamentary group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on inter-parliamentary relations with the Kingdom of Spain and a member of many other parliamentary friendship groups.

Achievements

Throughout his political career, Bychkov has authored 57 legislative initiatives, focusing on issues of national security, Ukraine's foreign policy, state construction and local self-government, regional policy development, improvement of financial and banking activities, development of the education system in Ukraine, and strengthening social guarantees for the most vulnerable segments of the population.
