Early Life

Sergei Chugun was born in Novosibirsk, Russia. His passion for performing arts began early on. From the tender age of six, he immersed himself in both music and dance. He honed his skills as an accordion player and mastered various dance styles, including classical, folk, and many more. After completing eighth grade, he relocated to Moscow to continue his education.

Pursuit of Theater

Even as a high school sophomore, Sergei's dream of becoming an actor burned brightly. However, despite his youthful enthusiasm, he was initially denied admission to theater institutes due to his young age. Undeterred, he persevered and successfully enrolled in the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI) in 2005, under the tutelage of renowned teacher Sergei Zhenovach.

On-Screen Debut and Rising Stardom

Sergei's screen debut came swiftly after graduating from RATI. He landed the role of Yaroslav in the popular youth series "Club." His performance paved the way for subsequent roles in "Yubiley" (Artem) and the melodrama "Dar Bozhiy" (Nikita). In 2008, he reached a milestone by starring as Sergeant Sergei Kupriyanov in the thrilling action movie "Krapovy Beret."
