Sergei Drozd, a Belarusian-Russian professional ice hockey player, has carved a remarkable career in the sport.

Early Beginnings

Drozd's passion for hockey manifested at an early age. At just fifteen years old in 2005, he debuted at the professional level with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl's farm team in the Russian First League. His tenure with the club lasted until 2008.

Transfer and Overseas Experience

From 2008 to 2009, Drozd's rights belonged to Keramin Minsk, but he spent half of the season on loan. In 2009, he ventured to the Western Hockey League, joining the Tri-City Americans.

Return to Belarus and International Success

In 2010, Drozd signed with HC Dinamo Minsk, where he established himself as a mainstay. Since then, he has remained a pivotal member of the team.

Internationally, Drozd's trajectory has been equally impressive. In 2008, he represented the Belarusian junior team at the World Junior Championship. He has participated in the 2010 World Championship and has accumulated three appearances for Belarus.
