Early Life and Education

Sergey Veksler's journey into the entertainment industry began in eighth grade, when he joined a theater studio. Concurrently, he excelled in judo, becoming a Candidate Master of Sports. After graduating high school, Veksler initially enrolled in the Construction Institute but later realized it was not his true calling. Following military service, he pursued his passion for acting and entered the Moscow Art Theatre School in 1982, graduating in 1986.

Film and Theater Career

Veksler's debut film role came in the 1986 socio-political drama "Jaguar," where he portrayed a military cadet fighting against the Pinochet regime. He returned to the same theme a decade later in the political thriller "Scar." Despite these notable roles, Veksler's acting career gained significant momentum in recent years.

In theater, Veksler has performed in several acclaimed productions, including "Ehay" at the Lenkom Theatre, "Phaedra" at the Taganka Theater, "The Petty Demon" at the Sovremennik Theatre, and "Maximilian the Stylite" at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre.
