Early Life and Career
Oleksandr Aliyev was born in Nikopol, Ukraine, and began his football career in the city's youth system. He later made his professional debut for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the Ukrainian Premier League in the late 1990s.

Aliyev went on to play for several elite Ukrainian clubs throughout his career, including:
ЦСКА/Арсенал Kyiv (1999-2005): Aliyev became one of the most prolific scorers in the club's history, scoring 47 goals in the Premier League and earning multiple Golden Boot awards as the team's top scorer.
Shakhtar Donetsk (2005-2006): Aliyev continued his goalscoring prowess, helping Shakhtar win the Ukrainian Premier League title.
Metalurh Donetsk (2006-2007): Aliyev once again won the Golden Boot award as the league's top scorer in the 2003 season.
Illichivets Mariupol (2007-2009): Aliyev led the team to its first-ever Ukrainian Cup victory.
Vorskla Poltava (2010-2014): Aliyev played his final seasons with Vorskla, contributing to the team's success both domestically and in European competitions.
International Career
Aliyev made nine appearances for the Ukrainian national team, debuting in a friendly match against Japan in 2002. He was a key member of the squad that qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
