Biography of Seth (Weston) Kelsey
Seth (Weston) Kelsey is an American athlete, a talented fencer, and a participant in numerous competitions, having won multiple awards. He is currently a member of the United States national team, which will represent the country in the upcoming Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kelsey currently resides in Colorado Springs.
Early Life and Education
Seth "Weston" Kelsey was born on August 24, 1981, in Santa Monica, California. He started fencing at a young age and quickly achieved success. In 1999, Kelsey graduated from Episcopal High School in Oregon, where he had been fencing for four years. During his time there, Kelsey received awards such as the Technical Stage award and Outstanding Athlete award. Fate was on his side during this period.
Later, Kelsey attended the United States Air Force Academy, from which he graduated in 2003 with an honorary degree in Behavioral Science. While at the academy, he continued to participate in fencing competitions and received numerous high-level awards. Additionally, he excelled in his academics.
Fencing Career
Currently, Seth Kelsey is a member of the United States Air Force World Class Athlete Program and serves in the United States Air Force. He spent some time in the reserves but has recently returned to the Air Force Active Reserve. Kelsey has participated in prestigious competitions such as the U.S. National Champion, Senior "A" World Cup, Pan American Games, Olympic Games (2004), and many others.
Current Endeavors
Seth Kelsey now spends the majority of his time in intense training and preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games. As a seasoned competitor, he understands the immense responsibility placed upon him. In his rare free hours, Kelsey enjoys reading books and engaging in sailing. He occasionally finds time to watch television, with House being one of his favorite shows. Additionally, Kelsey is fluent in Spanish and often practices the language.
Furthermore, Seth "Weston" Kelsey loves to travel and spend time with his family, including his parents and sister Holly.
