Serving as the press secretary of the Minister of Defense, he played a pivotal role in shaping the national discourse.

Early Life and Education

Born into a humble background, he began his journey by obtaining a degree in directing from the Faculty of Culture at Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogical Institute. Driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he furthered his studies in Moscow, where he underwent rigorous training at the renowned "Taganka" Theater under the tutelage of the legendary director, Yuri Lyubimov. His unwavering commitment to the art of cinema led him to complete the Advanced Film Directing Course at the State Committee for Radio and Television.

Professional Career

From 1970 to 1973, he honed his craft at "Yerevan," the studio for television films under the State Committee for Radio and Television. Subsequently, he assumed the role of director at the Nairi Regional House of Culture from 1974 to 1978. During this period, he performed his mandatory military service in the armed forces of the Soviet Union.

Seeking to expand his horizons, he pursued a course of advanced studies at the "Mosfilm" cinema studio under the guidance of acclaimed actor and director, Rolan Bykov. His expertise in film and communication made him a valuable asset to the Armenian National Army, which he joined in 1993. Initially assigned as head of the culture department, he was later promoted to lead the Information and Press Service.

In 1997, he was temporarily seconded from the army to National Television, where he served as deputy director. This experience proved invaluable, as he was subsequently appointed director of the "Nork" television channel in 1998. In 1999, he was elevated to the position of deputy head of the Information and Press Service within the Armenian government.

His professional trajectory continued upward in 2000, when he became director of the "Prometheus" television channel. Finally, in 2001, he reached the pinnacle of his career when he was appointed press secretary of the Minister of Defense.

Throughout his illustrious career, he has been recognized for his exceptional contributions.
