Biography of Shi Yuzhi
Shi Yuzhi, the founder of Giant Company, was born in 1962 in Huangnuan, Anhui Province, China. He obtained his higher education at Zhejiang University, where he graduated from the Mathematics Faculty in 1989. Shi specialized in software development and earned his first million yuan by selling his software.
Early Career and Giant Company
After completing his education, Shi started his career at the Statistical Bureau. However, he was not satisfied with his work and decided to resign. In 1991, he founded Giant Company, which focused on developing innovative software for cutting-edge computer equipment. The company quickly gained success and earned a substantial profit of 35 million yuan in 1992.
Giant Building Project and Bankruptcy
In the same year, Giant Company decided to establish its office in a 38-story building. However, after careful consideration, Shi Yuzhi made the decision to make drastic changes, resulting in the building having 70 floors. In late 1992, US Wang An Computer Company went bankrupt, which served as a lesson for Shi Yuzhi. He realized the importance of having reliable foundations in business.
In 1994, the first phase of the Giant Building project began. However, due to significant capital investments and ineffective management, Giant Company started facing financial troubles and entered the list of bankrupt companies after three years. The construction project was suspended, and many investors demanded their deposits back. Despite the challenging situation, Shi Yuzhi never gave up.
Resurgence and Success
After a period of difficulty, Giant Company managed to recover and regain its success. Shi Yuzhi became a renowned expert in major operations and achieved tremendous success. He fulfilled his obligations and repaid the debts to all small investors in the Giant Building project.
In 2004, Shi Yuzhi became the CEO of Stone Company, one of the largest printing companies in Hong Kong. He also established a third-largest company in China specializing in the development of online computer games. Shi Yuzhi is known for his excellent leadership skills and the ability to recognize the potential of his team. He is passionate about studying ancient porcelain and the works of Chairman Mao. With his determination and perseverance, he always achieves the goals he sets for himself.
