Slavi Kostenski: Bulgarian and Russian Footballer
Early Life and CareerSlavi Kostenski is a Bulgarian footballer who also holds Russian citizenship. Growing up, he played for the youth team of FC Chernomorets Burgas and later made his professional debut for the senior team. After a successful stint in Bulgaria, he joined PFC Slavia Sofia for a season.
International Journey
In 2006, Kostenski embarked on an international journey, signing with Kazakhstan's FC Irtysh Pavlodar. A year later, he returned to his former club, Chernomorets Burgas. In 2008, he moved to PFC Spartak Varna before being released a few months later.
Russian Ambitions
In March 2009, Kostenski attempted to join Russian second division club FC Volga Tver for the upcoming season. However, the transfer fell through due to administrative issues.
Return to Bulgaria
Undeterred, Kostenski returned to Bulgaria and played for FC Chernomorets Balchik from 2009 to 2010. Since then, he has continued to pursue his football career in various countries.
