Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Solomea Krutikova, Ukraine's renowned opera singer, was born into a family of musicians. Her remarkable vocal journey began at a tender age of two, and she graced the stage for the first time at age three, winning a coveted prize at a children's music competition. By the age of nine, she held an impressive vocal range spanning three octaves.
Musical Prodigy
Solomea's exceptional vocal abilities extended beyond opera to include genres such as jazz, classical, and pop. Her extraordinary talent earned her the title of "Ukraine's Youngest Opera Singer." She collaborated with renowned symphony orchestras in Ukraine and Germany, captivating audiences with her interpretations of classic repertoire.
International Competitions
Solomea's competitive spirit propelled her to participate in numerous regional and international contests, where she consistently emerged victorious. Among her most notable triumphs were her first-place finish at the "Children's New Wave 2009" competition and the Elena Obraztsova International Competition for Young Academic Vocalists in 2010. In 2011, she received the prestigious "Pride of the Country" award in the "Exceptional Talent" category from the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
Television Appearances
Solomea's exceptional voice and stage presence made her a finalist in the first season of the Ukrainian television singing competition "The Voice. Kids" in 2012-2013. Her performance on the German version of "The Voice of Germany" in 2015 left an unforgettable impression, earning her a standing ovation from all the judges.
Ongoing Education and Accomplishments
Since 2012, Solomea has resided in Germany, where she continues her musical education at the Bach Musikgymnasium and concurrently pursues opera vocals at the Berlin Conservatory. In November 2016, she triumphed at the Triomphe de l'Art international vocal competition in Brussels, receiving the Grand Prix. In October 2017, she achieved first place and the Audience Award at the Giulio Perotti International Opera Singing Competition in Ickermünde, Germany.
