Turner has been playing the role of Sansa Stark in the HBO series 'Game of Thrones' since 2011. Her acting teacher recommended her for the audition, and she dyed her hair bright red for the role. When asked if she has read any of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' books that the series is based on, Turner replied, "I have read the chapters involving my character, but no, I haven't gotten to the actual books yet. I'll probably read them when the series comes to an end. I understand how things should unfold in the show, but it's just an adaptation, so the books and the scripts will diverge further."
