Stefan Krauße is a highly decorated German luger who represented both East Germany and Germany from the mid-1980s to 1998. With an impressive track record that includes four Olympic medals, Krauße solidified his status as one of the most successful lugers of all time.

Krauße's Olympic debut came in 1988 in Calgary, where he earned a silver medal. Four years later, at the Albertville Games, he captured the prestigious gold medal. In 1994 in Lillehammer, he added a bronze medal to his collection. His second Olympic gold came in 1998 in Nagano, marking a fitting conclusion to his illustrious career.
