Early Life and College Career

Stefan Wayne LeFors was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1981. His rise in the football world began during his college career at the University of Louisville under coach Bobby Petrino. Despite early doubts from Petrino, LeFors eventually earned a starting spot in 2004.

His breakout season saw him lead the Cardinals to a 11-1 record, a Liberty Bowl victory, and a top-six ranking by the Associated Press. LeFors broke school records with over 5,000 passing yards and a 66% completion rate. He continued to excel in subsequent seasons, earning several awards, including the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and All-Conference USA Quarterback.

NFL and CFL Years

Following his college career, LeFors was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. However, he spent the season as a backup and was eventually released.

LeFors then turned his attention to the Canadian Football League, signing with the Edmonton Eskimos. After a disappointing first season, he had a breakout year in 2007, ranking among the league's top-ten quarterbacks in passing yards and completion percentage. He also became one of the CFL's most rushing quarterbacks, gaining over 250 yards on the ground.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Free Agency

In 2009, LeFors moved to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. However, he failed to impress and was released after a short stint.

Currently, LeFors is a free agent, seeking opportunities in both the CFL and NFL.
