Andriy Cherniavsky: From Meat Entrepreneur to Political Leader
Early Life and EducationBorn in Ukraine, Andriy Cherniavsky graduated from the Odessa National Food Academy in 1995, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, he held positions as an engineer-mechanic and a dock worker-mechanic.
Business Career
In the business realm, Cherniavsky founded and leads "Agrostar Export" Ltd., which later established "Service Myaso" and "PMK-2015." His company specializes in the wholesale trade of meat and meat products.
Political Journey
Cherniavsky entered the political arena as a candidate in the 2019 parliamentary elections for the "Servant of the People" party. He represented electoral district №138, encompassing several districts in the Odessa region. At the time of his election, he was a nonpartisan entrepreneur residing in Odessa.
Parliamentary Role
Upon his election to the Ukrainian Parliament, Cherniavsky became a Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy. In this capacity, he plays a vital role in shaping agricultural and land-related policies in Ukraine.
