Svetlana Timofeeva-Letunovskaya was born on June 25, 1972, in Kaluga, Russia, to a military family. After graduating from high school in 1989, she enrolled in the library faculty of the Tambov branch of the Moscow State Institute of Culture. A year later, she transferred to the same faculty at the main Moscow State Institute of Culture, where she successfully completed her studies in 1993.

Award Winner

In 1999, Timofeeva-Letunovskaya received a second degree after completing her studies at the S.A. Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, under the mentorship of A.V. Batalov. In 2000, she joined the renowned Moscow Theater on Mala Bronnaya. She has appeared in plays such as "Rhythm Teacher" (Zoya) and "The Unexpected Guest" (Laura). From 2001 to 2003, Timofeeva-Letunovskaya worked as the host of the popular TV show "Bingo Show" on the RTR channel.

Successful Career

Timofeeva-Letunovskaya also performed in the independent play "Do Not Wake a Sleeping Dog," directed by Olga Shvedova and based on the detective play by John Priestley. Her co-stars in the play were Ivar Kalnynsh and Andrey Kharitonov. She has been involved in the film industry since 1999, starting with her leading role in the TV series "Olga Korzh's Eyes" (2002), directed by Olga Dobrova-Kulikova. In the series, she played an attractive and successful host of a popular crime chronicle TV program who suddenly discovers she has a unique gift of clairvoyance. Timofeeva-Letunovskaya regularly appears in both TV series and feature films. Her characters are consistently beautiful and attractive women. One of her most successful roles was as Yulia Uvarova, the wife of Alexander Uvarov, in the series "Talisman of Love." This series, released in 2005, generated great interest among viewers due to its intricately woven plot set in late 19th century Russia, filled with intrigue, love, and beautiful characters.
