Early Career
Hichem Henissi, a Tunisian footballer, began his professional career in 2010 with Esperance Sportive de Tunis. However, as a central striker, he struggled to secure a starting role, making only four league appearances in two seasons.
Transfer to Sfaxien
In search of more playing time, Henissi joined Club Sportif Sfaxien in early 2012. Over the next three and a half seasons with Sfaxien, he established himself as a key member of the attacking line, helping the team win the Tunisian Ligue 1 and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Return to Esperance
In the summer of 2015, Henissi made a move back to Esperance. Since then, he has played a significant role for the club, contributing to their success in domestic and continental competitions.
International Career
Henissi earned his first international cap for Tunisia on March 23, 2013, in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Sierra Leone. He has since gone on to represent his country at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
