Early Life and Education

Born on November 20, 1998, Taisiya-Oksana Shchuruk's unique name reflects the love of her parents, who named her after both her father, Vitaly, and her godfather. From a young age, her artistic nature shone through, showcased in her role as a bandit in a kindergarten production of "The Snow Queen."

Despite struggling with grades in high school, Taisiya-Oksana's dream of becoming an actress remained strong. She joined an acting class at the school of arts and the folklore theater "Levenya," where she excelled in her performance as Clarisse in "Fahrenheit 451."

After graduating from the women's gymnasium, Taisiya-Oksana pursued her passion further at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Karyi. However, she was expelled from the university in her second year due to her involvement in the TV series "Kyiv Day and Night."

Undeterred, she moved to Kyiv International University (KIMU) but quickly realized that it was not the right fit for her. She then enrolled in Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUTKiT), fulfilling her long-held dream of attending the prestigious institution.

Acting Career

Taisiya-Oksana Shchuruk's acting debut came in the series "Real Mysticism," followed by a small role in "Clinic." In 2017, she auditioned for the fourth season of "Top Model Ukraine" but was unsuccessful. After recovering from pneumonia, she played small roles in "Doctor Kovalchuk" and "Life on the Edge." She also starred in the mystical drama "Morena."

Taisiya-Oksana's most notable role to date is Katya in the youth thriller series "First Swallows" (2019), which gained international acclaim. She has since starred in the second season of "First Swallows" and will reprise her role in the upcoming third season.
