Biography of Tamara Yandieva

Tamara Khabazhovna Yandieva is a renowned actress and a Merited Artist of Chechnya-Ingushetia, North Ossetia, and Abkhazia. She was born on July 23, 1955, in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR. After graduating from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), she moved to Grozny. Alongside other actors, she played a pivotal role in establishing the Ingush drama theater.

Acting Career

As a film actress, Tamara Yandieva has appeared in numerous films produced by various studios such as "Kazakhfilm," "Azerbaijanfilm," "Tajikfilm," "Uzbekfilm," and "Mosfilm." Her memorable roles include Shahnaz, the daughter of a noble in the drama "I Will Return," Parvin in the historical film "Babek," Maimkhan in the movie "Year of the Dragon," Kamachich in the historical-revolutionary film "The Bell of the Sacred Forge," Medina, a student, in the film "About the Peculiarities of Love," and Gulnora Rahimovna, a music teacher, in the school film "Hello, Gulnora Rahimovna!" However, she is most well-known for her portrayal of Anora, the daughter of a merchant Karabay, in the trilogy about Scheherazade. She first appeared as Anora in the film "And One More Night of Scheherazade..." and later played Asmigul, the daughter of the caliph, in the sequels "New Tales of Scheherazade" and "The Last Night of Scheherazade."
