Biography of Taras Lutsenko
Taras Lutsenko is a former Ukrainian football player, goalkeeper, and coach. He grew up in a sports-oriented family, with his mother being a former basketball player and later a physical education teacher, and his father playing football and working as a track and field coach. Lutsenko was involved in hockey while attending school in Chernihiv and also participated in athletics. After completing the 8th grade, he enrolled in a sports boarding school in Kyiv, where he was trained by Yevhen Rudakov.
In 1991, Lutsenko joined the reserve team of Kyiv's "Dynamo" after graduating from the boarding school. He played for "Dynamo-2" and "Dynamo-3" for a significant period. In 1995, he played for Vinnytsia's "Niva", and in 1999, he transferred to "Uralan" at the invitation of Pavel Yakovenko. However, he was unable to establish himself in the team. In winter 2004, Lutsenko joined Uzhhorod's "Zakarpattia" and helped the team reach the Premier League. In July 2005, he signed a two-year contract with Kyiv's "Dynamo", where he served as a backup goalkeeper.
In July 2009, Lutsenko became a goalkeeper coach and assistant to the head coach of the youth team of Kyiv's "Dynamo". In 2013, he was appointed as the goalkeeper coach for "Dynamo-2". Lutsenko is married to Angela, and they have two children, Maxim and Anastasia.
