Biography of Tatiana Kabanova
Tatiana Kabanova is a singer and actress of the theater, known for her performances in the style of Russian chanson. She currently resides in St. Petersburg, Russia and has released two albums. In the early 1990s, she starred in a film about Russian chanson in St. Petersburg. She was the owner of a cabaret called "Russian chanson" where she also performed, but the cabaret has since ceased to exist.

Kabanova has also participated in the recording of the album "Trans-Siberian Railway" by A. Rosenbaum. In 2001, she took part in a play about A. Vertinsky. Despite the fact that very few people know about the theater "Popugai Flaber" in St. Petersburg, the name of its owner - singer and actress Tatiana Kabanova - is well-known to theater connoisseurs.

A few years ago, her solo performance "In Memory of Vertinsky" received phenomenal success and was shown on the stage of "Priyut Komedianta" theater until recently. Kabanova's performance captured the essence of the Silver Age, showcasing her beautiful voice, high-quality artistry, and graceful movements. This promised a bright future for the young actress, who was already recognized for her work in the Youth Theater.
Afterwards, she performed in a play called "Isadora, Farewell!" together with actor Vladislav Bambushek, but it was only shown twice. For some time, she was the host of the TV show "Musical News". She then had a musical program titled "Madam Bomzha", where she skillfully stylized classic chanson songs such as "Murka", "Sharoban", "Alesha-sha", and "Gop-so Smykom". It was another tremendous success, followed by a period of calm after several premieres.
However, soon the Swiss Drama Center in Chablais-Riviera became interested in Kabanova's work. This led to a joint project with Claude Verbe (an actor and scenographer from Lyon), where they performed a play based on the poem "Charlotte" by Jean Rictus, a famous French poet and tramp. Kabanova is now eager to realize her idea of a play dedicated to Marlene Dietrich.
The play "Sentenced to Love" was written by Viktor Bolshakov, a poet from St. Petersburg known for his several collections and songs for the film "Patsany" (the most famous of which is "I Called My Horse..."). According to Viktor, Tatiana Kabanova is the only actress in St. Petersburg whom he can envision portraying Marlene Dietrich due to her voice and charm that can bring her closer to this character.
