Early Life and Career Beginnings
Tatyana Alexandrovna Stolyarova was born on March 28, 1984, in Mordovia, but she spent her childhood and youth in Orel. Her older brother Sergey currently works in the Moscow prosecutor's office. While still in school, Tatyana started her career in the modeling business, and at the age of 18, she won the 'Miss Orel-2002' competition. Even earlier, she auditioned for a role in the popular musical 'Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka' and appeared in several music videos.
In 2005, Tatyana had a small role in the film 'Manga' directed by Petr Khazizov. However, she was not confident that a career as a top model or movie star would work out for her, so she decided to pursue a serious profession as a finance manager. After completing a distance learning course at the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, she realized that she couldn't work in an office or a bank, as she was drawn to creative professions. Immediately after finishing her studies, Tatyana enrolled at the Moscow Institute for the Retraining of Television and Radio Workers. Her friends advised her to gain practical experience while studying, and they informed her that the television company 'Mir' was looking for an editor for its economic news section. Despite having little knowledge about the work of a television editor, Tatyana already possessed economic knowledge. She not only performed the duties of an editor but also acted as the chief editor in his absence. She then worked as a correspondent for 'Economic News' and eventually tried her hand at hosting the main news segment.
Career at 'Russia-24'
After about two years of work, Tatyana felt that she had acquired a sufficient level of professionalism and decided to find a job at more prestigious channels. She sent out her resumes and videos and successfully auditioned to become a presenter for the 'Russia-24' channel. Since 2011, Tatyana Stolyarova has regularly appeared on the evening news broadcasts of this channel. Within six months, she was invited to host the economic segment of the program 'Vesti v Subbotu' ('Russia-1', Sergey Brilev). In addition, she began participating in the program 'Biznes-Vektor' ('Russia-24'), created with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. By appearing on screen, Tatyana analyzed changes in legislation, the prospects of creating a single economic space, Russia's entry into the WTO, and other important areas of socio-economic activity. Later, viewers could see Stolyarova in the television program 'Zalog Uspeha' ('Success Guarantee') and in her own show 'Lichny Schet' ('Personal Account'). Her high level of professionalism was duly recognized. In 2012, she participated in the 'Doverie' competition for journalists, and her materials covering corporate and pension programs were recognized as the best. In 2013, Tatyana Stolyarova was awarded a diploma from the All-Russian Forum of Business Media for her support of domestic entrepreneurship and coverage of Russian economic growth issues. The themes of Tatyana's programs are not limited to the economic and financial sphere. She is the author and presenter of the documentary program 'Life on a Volcano', dedicated to the eruption of the Kamchatka volcano Plosky Tolbachik (2013). Together with the Russian Geographical Society, Stolyarova produced special reports on Gogland Island and the mysteries of the deep sea.
