Birth and ChildhoodTaylor Kinney was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in July 1981. He grew up with three brothers: Adam, Trent, and Ryan (who passed away in 2008). After his birth, his parents divorced, and his mother, Pamela Heisler Kinney, a dental hygienist, raised him and his siblings as a single mother.
He inherited a diverse heritage, with Irish roots from his father and Swiss and German ancestry from his mother.
School and University
Taylor Kinney attended Lancaster Mennonite School, where he excelled in football and academics, with a particular interest in mathematics and science. After high school, he moved to West Virginia and enrolled in West Virginia University, where he studied Business Management.
