Early Career
Ignatiy Nesterov began his professional football career in 2002 with Ukraine's Metallurg Donetsk. In 2004, he joined Armenian club Banants Yerevan, where he made five appearances in the UEFA Cup.
Dynamo Kyiv and International Debut
On May 16, 2009, Nesterov made his debut for Ukrainian powerhouse Dynamo Kyiv. However, his time at the club was brief.
Uzbekistan and Lokomotiv
Nesterov eventually returned to his native Uzbekistan, joining Lokomotiv Tashkent. He has been a key member of the club since then, establishing himself as a reliable goalkeeper.

Ignatiy Nesterov is married to Natalia and has a daughter named Amina, who was born in 2006.
