Thomas Kwok holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Imperial College London. He serves as Co-Chairman and Managing Director of Sun Hung Kai Properties, alongside his brother Raymond. The Kwok brothers inherited the company upon their father's death in 1990.

Despite their mother's influence as matriarch of the family, Thomas and his brothers have played a pivotal role in guiding Sun Hung Kai Properties to become one of the largest real estate developers in Hong Kong.
