The Swiss musician and composer is renowned for his composition "Vogerltanz" (Bird Dance), which he wrote in 1957 but was only released on record in 1973.
Rise to Prominence
"Vogerltanz" became widely popular in the former Soviet Union as the instrumental portion of the song "Dance of the Little Ducks," for which Yuri Entin wrote the lyrics. The melody gained immense recognition and became a beloved classic.
Later Life and Artistic Contributions
In his later years, the composer resided in Minusio, Switzerland. He established the music publishing house Wetho-Verlag, which specialized in the distribution of sheet music. His passion for music continued to inspire him throughout his life.
