Tom Meighan, an English musician, is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band "Kasabian". He was born on January 11, 1981 in Leicester, United Kingdom. Meighan's father worked as a window cleaner and was a collector of "Motown" records, while his mother was a nurse who had a passion for jazz. Before pursuing a career in music, Meighan worked at a shoe factory in Whetstone and a steel foundry.

Meighan became the vocalist of Kasabian from the moment the band was formed in Leicester in 1999. He is responsible for the majority of the group's vocal material and does not play any musical instruments within the band, except for occasionally playing the tambourine and guitar during live performances with "The Nightworkers".

During his current world tour, Meighan allegedly received a diagnosis of "swine flu" after his trips to Japan and Australia.
