Tomer Sisley, a French comedian and actor, is well-known for his stand-up comedy performances. He was born on August 17, 1974, in Berlin, Germany, to a family of former Israeli residents with Russian and Yemeni roots. Despite his mixed heritage, Sisley often explains to his audience at the end of his shows that he is actually just Jewish, rather than being half-Jewish and half-Arab.

Sisley moved to France at the age of nine and studied acting under the guidance of Jack Waltzer, his teacher and mentor for ten years. Waltzer, who also served as a consultant for Dustin Hoffman during the filming of "Tootsie," has trained renowned actors such as Robert Duvall, Sharon Stone, John Voight, Gina Davis, and others.

In 2003, Sisley became the first French comedian in the improvisational genre to win the "revelation prize" at the "Just For Laughs" festival in Montreal, the world's largest comedy festival. He was also the first French comedian to be invited to perform in English at this festival.

Sisley has appeared in various television series, including "Navarro," "Highlander," "Studio sud," and "Highlander: The Raven." He is recognized on the small screen for his roles in films such as "Nana," "Vacances mortelles," and "Retiens-moi." He has also starred in comedies like "Alliance cherche doigt" and "Absolument fabuleux," thriller "Dédales" alongside Lambert Wilson, and the drama "Bedwin Hacker" directed by Nadia El Fani. Sisley enjoys performing his own stunts, as seen in the film "Largo Winch," where he worked without a stunt double. A sequel to this film, titled "Largo Winch 2: The Burma Conspiracy," was set to be released in 2011. In the same year, Sisley would also appear in Frédéric Jardin's thriller "Nuit blanche."

On October 3, 2008, Sisley's girlfriend, Julie, gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Liv Shaya. Sisley is fluent in French, English, German, and Hebrew.
