He completed his education at the local Hartford High School and received professional training at The Artists Collective, Inc., an institution specifically created for the African diaspora. Todd went on to study at the University of Connecticut and later pursued an intensive theater program at the National Actors Theatre Institute. He further honed his skills through an educational course offered by the prestigious Trinity Rep theater.
