Biography of Tracy Brooks

Tracy Brooks, born on May 22, 1975, is a Canadian professional wrestler, wrestling referee, and wrestling manager. She was raised on a chicken and pig farm in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada. Tracy achieved the title of "Miss June 2000" and was featured in an interview with the tabloid "Toronto Sun" after becoming one of the girls in the "Toronto Sunshine" millennium calendar. She continued her attractive career as a promotional model for beer companies such as Molson, Labatt, and Budweiser.

Becoming a Wrestling Star

In an interview, Tracy expressed her ambition to become the "next big star of WWF (World Wrestling Federation)". Her desire caught the attention of professional wrestler Ron Hutchinson, who became her trainer. Tracy began her training in March 2000 and made her debut in January 2001 under the name "Tracy Brooks". She debuted in TNA on April 30, 2003, in a unique way. During the breaks between matches, Tracy, dressed in a Catholic schoolgirl uniform, attacked wrestler Jamie Lynn (Lollipop), who was supposed to entertain the audience with her dancing. A week later, Tracy demanded to be included in a series of matches, the winner of which would earn a shot at the NWA International Heavyweight Championship. She threatened to file a discrimination lawsuit against Bill Behrens, the representative of the National Wrestling Alliance, if he refused her. However, Behrens remained unfazed. Tracy then tried to charm him, leading to a triple threat women's match with Kim Nielsen (Desire) and Stephanie Finochio (Trinity). Unfortunately, Tracy did not qualify for the Championship based on the subsequent matches.

Success in TNA

Continuing to compete for TNA, Tracy assisted Shane Douglas in defeating Jim Fullington (The Sandman) in November 2003. The newly-formed duo, along with Michael Shane, became known as "The New Franchise" after winning a match against Sonjay Dutt. Tracy became the manager of Shane and took Frankie Kazarian under her wing, leading to the team being called "Shazarion" by the fans. Both of Tracy's proteges reached the X Division Championship but lost the title to Petey Williams in a match.

Part of "The Main Event Mafia"

In a "battle royal" match of the Knockouts division, the winner would receive a $50,000 prize and a spot in the wrestler alliance "The Main Event Mafia". Tracy, who agreed to be the referee, ended up eliminating Lisa Marie Varon (Tara) and Kiyoshi Stevens (Awesome Kong) from the ring. As a result, the referee became a finalist and a member of "The Main Event Mafia". In an interview with the "Chicago Sun-Times" in 2008, Tracy revealed that she had become a victim of Erb's palsy, a partial paralysis of her right arm caused by an injury. Although aggressive treatment helped, Tracy noticed that her right arm was weaker than usual in the ring.

Playboy Deal and Wrestling Career

Tracy Brooks became the first TNA Knockout to sign a deal with Playboy magazine. However, on September 2, 2009, it was decided not to publish her photos in the magazine but release them through the magazine's cyber club on September 17. In the world of staged wrestling, Tracy is also known by names such as Traci, Tracy, "Miss AWF," "Miss Apocalypse," "Floation Floozy," and "Knockouts Law".
