Early Career
Born in Wales, the late defender began his professional football journey in 1956 with Charlton Athletic. Over four seasons, he made 64 appearances for the English club.
Cardiff City Success
In 1960, the defender joined Cardiff City, where he spent the next four years. During his time with the Welsh side, he won the Welsh Cup, solidifying his legacy as a notable figure in Welsh football.
Australian Adventure
Seeking new challenges, the defender embarked on an Australian odyssey in 1964. He joined Hakoah Sydney and remained with the club for five seasons. Subsequently, he spent a year with Melita Eagles before concluding his professional career with Marconi Stallions from 1970 to 1972.
International Debut
The defender earned his first cap for the Wales national team in 1958, representing his country in two official matches. He was also selected for the Welsh squad that participated in the 1958 FIFA World Cup in Sweden.
Later Life and Passing
After his retirement from football, the defender settled in Queensland, Australia. He passed away in May 2024 at the age of 87, leaving behind a legacy as a dedicated and talented Welsh footballer.
