Early Life and Education

Valentina Aleksandrovna was born on April 11, 1952, in the village of Krasny Vostok in the Malokarachaevsky District. She received her higher education in 1976, graduating from the Leningrad Order of the Red Banner of Labor Agricultural Institute.

Career

Valentina began her career in 1970 as a timekeeper for the trust "Karachaevo-Cherkesskpromstroy." She also worked as a controller at the NVA factory in Cherkessk before pursuing her studies at the Leningrad Agricultural Institute.

After graduating from college, Valentina held positions as an economist, senior economist, and leading economist in the Karachaevo-Cherkessian Regional Department of Agriculture. In 1987, she became the chief accountant of the "Yuzhny" state farm-combine (a major greenhouse complex in Europe) of the Department of Science and Industrial Policy of the Moscow Government.

In 1996, Valentina was appointed as the general director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Sovhoz-combine" Yuzhny" of the Department of Science and Industrial Policy of the Moscow Government.

Political Career

Valentina became a member of the Parliament of the Karachaevo-Cherkessian Republic's second convocation from the 61st electoral district (Ust-Dzhegutinsky District). She served as a member of the Presidium of the Parliament and the Credentials Commission on Deputy Ethics and Regulations.

Notable Achievement

In 1999, Valentina Aleksandrovna made history by becoming the only female candidate to run for the post of Head of the Karachaevo-Cherkessian Republic.
