Russian, Soviet, and Ukrainian Librarian

Born into a family of revolutionary Narodniks, she worked at the Kharkiv Public Library before the October Revolution and in the early years of Soviet power.

Labor Camp Librarian

In the 1930s, she served as a librarian in the labor camp town of Golyshmanovo, where her husband was forcibly settled. From 1944, she became the head of the district library.

School Librarian and Termination

In 1949, she started working at a school library, but was dismissed in 1951. After two court hearings, she was reinstated but resigned after six months.

Later Life in Kharkiv

She spent her later years in Kharkiv, where her life and contributions to the library profession were recognized.
