Valeriy Zhidkov was born on March 24, 1975, in the city of Tambov, Russia.

Education and Military Service

After completing his secondary education, Zhidkov enrolled at the Tambov State Technical University, where he obtained a degree in systems engineering. Upon graduation, he served in the Russian military.

Career in Law Enforcement

Following his military service, Zhidkov worked as an operative in the Russian police for two years.

KVN and Studio Kvartal-95

In the early 2000s, Zhidkov began his career in comedy as part of the KVN teams "Tambovskie Volki" and later "Tapkiny Deti" (House Shoes' Kids). In 2003, he joined the writing team of "Studio Kvartal-95," which would go on to become one of the most successful comedy studios in Ukraine.

Television Career

Zhidkov has hosted several popular television shows in Ukraine, including "Porobleno v Ukraine," "Vechernniy Kvartal," and "Chisto NEWS," alongside Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Other Notable Works

In addition to his work in television and comedy, Zhidkov has co-written the musical "Kazaki..." and is a member of the comedy duo "Optimist and Pessimist," where he plays the pessimist.
