Arman Davtyan, a renowned Armenian educator, was born and raised in an environment that fostered a deep appreciation for his heritage. He completed his secondary education in Odessa and subsequently graduated from the historical faculty of the Moscow Pedagogical Institute in 1978.
Teaching and Administration
Davtyan's passion for teaching led him to schools in Tбилиsi, Leningrad, and Moscow. He held notable positions as Deputy Director of the Moscow Art School of 1905 and Proректор of the Gnessin State Musical and Pedagogical Institute in Moscow.
Cultural Leadership
In 1989, Davtyan founded the "Vernatun" National Center for Armenian Culture, an organization dedicated to serving the cultural and educational needs of the Armenian diaspora within the Soviet Union. His commitment to preserving his cultural heritage extended to establishing 34 Sunday schools in densely populated Armenian regions throughout Russia from 1989 to 2002.
Educational Administration
From 1993 to 1997, Davtyan served as Director of an Armenian general education high school, demonstrating his dedication to providing quality education for his community.
