Professional Debut at Libertad
In 2004, Cáceres made his professional debut for Club Libertad. It was an auspicious start to his career, as Libertad emerged as the Paraguayan champions four times during his tenure (2006, 2007, 2008 Apertura, and 2008 Clausura).
Flourishing at Flamengo
In 2012, Cáceres crossed borders to join the Brazilian powerhouse Flamengo. With the Rio de Janeiro-based club, he lifted the prestigious Copa do Brasil in 2013 and triumphed in the Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State Championship) in 2014.
Qatar and International Career
