Viktor Blom is a Swedish professional poker player and former member of the 'Team PokerStars Pro'. He was born in 1990 in Sweden. Blom gained international recognition in the poker community in late 2009 when he achieved one of the top 10 largest online poker winnings in history. At that time, Blom was only 19 years old.

Early Career

Blom began playing poker in September 2009 on Full Tilt Poker. Initially, he was just one of the thousands of anonymous players, but later he started playing at high stakes tables with professionals such as Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Brian Townsend, and Patrik Antonius. The stakes at these virtual poker rooms were $500/$1000. Blom's online username was Isildur1. By November 15th, Blom's bankroll reached $6 million. However, by mid-December, his bankroll had dropped to just over $2 million.

Transition to PokerStars

Blom later left Full Tilt Poker and began collaborating with PokerStars. In mid-August 2012, it was announced that he was ending his partnership with PokerStars.
