Biography of Viktor Pasulko

Viktor Pasulko was a Soviet football player and midfielder. He was born on December 16, 1959, in Irshava, Ukraine. He began playing football at a young age and joined the local youth sports school in his hometown.

In 1982, Pasulko moved to Odessa and joined the football club "Chernomorets" where Victor Prokopenko was the head coach. He played for Chernomorets for five seasons and became a key player for the team. However, due to internal conflicts within the team, Pasulko expressed his desire to change clubs.

In 1987, Pasulko was invited by Konstantin Beskov to join the Moscow-based club "Spartak". During his time at Spartak, he won two gold medals in the Soviet Championship in 1987 and 1989. He also participated in the European Championship in 1988, where he reached the final with the Soviet national team.

In 1990, Pasulko moved to Germany and continued his football career there until 2000. During his time in Germany, he played for various semi-professional teams, often taking on the role of a player-coach. He also completed his coaching education in Cologne and later managed teams in the Oberliga, the fourth tier of German football.

In 2002, Pasulko received an offer from the Moldovan Football Federation to become the head coach of the national team. He accepted the position and held it for three years, but did not achieve significant success. After leaving his role as the head coach of the Moldovan national team, Pasulko went to Azerbaijan to train the newly formed club "Khazar" in Lenkoran. However, he resigned shortly after.

Currently, Pasulko resides in Germany. In July 2008, he took over as the head coach of the Uzbek club "Shurtan" in Guzar.

During his career, Pasulko represented the Soviet national team and played in eight matches, all in 1988, scoring one goal. He was directly involved in the final match of the 1988 European Championship against the Netherlands. However, since he only played in two out of five matches during the tournament, he was not awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports. After the European Championship, he was not called up to the national team again.
